Xiaomi has officially launched the new Redmi flagship phone, the Redmi Pro, in China. The device matches all the previous leaks we have seen, including the one from TENAA which we reported earlier today.
The Redmi Pro sports a 5.5-inch OLED display with a 2.5D curved Glass and 100% NTSC color gamut. The device has a brushed metal design with chamfered edges, with dual speaker grilles on the bottom, alongside a USB Type-C port. There is a physical home button on the front, which houses the fingerprint-scanner.
The Redmi Pro comes in three variants, one with a 64-bit 2.5GHz deca-core (10-core) MediaTek Helio X20 processor (2 x A72 cores + 8 x A53 cores) with 3GB RAM/32GB of internal storage, another with a deca-core (10-core) MediaTek Helio X25 processor with 3GB RAM/64GB storage, and a third with a MediaTek Helio X25 processor with 4GB RAM/128GB storage.
The photography department on the Redmi Pro comprises of a 13 megapixel rear camera which has a Sony IMX 258 sensor, and a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera with a Samsung sensor. The device is backed by a 4050mAh battery, supports VoLTE, and comes with a hybrid SIM slot, which can be used for a SIM card and a memory card, or two SIM cards.
