Huawei is expected to launch Mate 9 flagship devices on November 3 and it is not just one device but two Mate 9 flagship devices if the rumors surrounding the device are true. The renders of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro got leaked today, thanks to @evleaks. The leak shows the Huawei Mate 9 Pro in full glory and is similar to what we have seen earlier as Mate 9 renders i.e. presence of dual camera setup with sensors from LEICA that came with Huawei P9, the fingerprint sensor at back and the front home button along with USB C type port.
The leaked render reveals one new aspect of the upcoming Mate 9 Pro i.e. it comes with a dual edge curved display whereas the standard variant won’t be a curved one.
The standard Mate 9 code-named Manhattan sports a 5.9 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 960 chipset unveiled few days ago. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage. It comes with 12 MP dual camera setup. It may run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
Whereas, Mate 9 Pro code-named Long Island sports a 5.9 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, powered by same SOC and RAM as of standard variant except that it also comes with a variant of 256 GB of storage. It may run on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system.
