Rescue Roby is a physics-based puzzle game from Runaway Studios, and was recently featured in Google Play’s weekly selection of games.
The game comes in two versions, a free limited version and a paid version with all the levels. But the developers decided to make the free version a full-featured and ad-supported one, so their fans can enjoy the game.
Roby the robot, fails the quality inspection at the factory, because of his quirky looks and his eccentric behaviour, and ends up in the scrap bin. But come nightfall, he tries to make his way to the shipping box and that’s where the gameplay comes in.
The game is very similar to Cut the Rope, you have to collect three stars in each level and make sure Roby lands in the box safely. All this by removing coloured boxes and using the game’s physics, which is quite good. The cartoonish graphics somehow reminds me of Toy Story, just don’t ask me why.
The game has plenty of levels, 80 to be precise, with a 100 more coming out on Valentines day. (according to the google Play description) That’s barely 2 weeks away.
