Samsung has announced two new phones in the Galaxy A series in Europe. Meet the Samsung Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s.
Samsung Galaxy A12
The Galaxy A12’s design looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G, but they differ quite a bit in terms of tech specs.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display that has an Infinity-V water-drop notch. An 8MP selfie lens with an f/2.2 aperture sits in the notch.
The phone runs on One UI based on Android 10, and is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. It has 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of storage and supports up to 1TB of expandable memory via a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 sports quad cameras comprising a 5MP ultra wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro camera that has an f/2.4 aperture, a 48MP primary lens with an f/2.0 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash.
The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports, 15W Fast Charging over a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A12 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device supports 4G VoLTE networks.

Samsung Galaxy A02s
The Galaxy A20s is similar to the A12, but has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The A20s features a 13MP primary lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED Flash. The device has a micro USB port. It does not have a fingerprint scanner.
Samsung Galaxy A12 and Samsung Galaxy A02s price
The Samsung Galaxy A12 has been priced at €179 in Europe for the 3GB/32GB variant, and at €199 for the 6GB/128GB version. The 12 will be available from January 2021. The Galaxy A02s has been priced at €150, and will be available from February 2021.
