Samsung had announced the Galaxy A7 last month, and it was expected to be available at the end of the first quarter of 2015.
But the phablet is already available at the Samsung India eStore.
The A7 sports a metal unibody design, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The variant sold in India is the Dual SIM phablet (SM-A700F),which supports two Nano SIM cards. The second slot is a Hybrid Dual SIM slot, which allows you to use a memory card instead of a SIM card. The device supports 3G and 4G LTE networks, apart from regular connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Glonass, etc.
The A7 (SM-A700F) is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 Octa Core (1.5 Ghz + 1Ghz) processor, and 2 GB of RAM. The phablet features a 5.5″ Full HD Super AMOLED Display. It has 16 GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot which supports up to 64 GB of expandable storage.
The A7’s main camera is a 13 Megapixels snapper with Autofocus, LED Flash, 1080p Video Recording and Rear-Cam Selfie. The front camera is a 5 Megapixels lens with Wide Selfie and Beauty Face. The A7 packs a 2.600 mAh battery.
