Samsung has officially launched a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy A80 which comes with the company’s first rotating camera that can be used as a selfie shooter or a normal rear camera.
The optics on the phone comprise of a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary lens with an f/2.0 aperture, a 123° 8MP Ultra Wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 3D Depth sensor for Live Focus, along with an LED flash.
The design of the Galaxy A80 seems much better than your regular slider design phones. The cameras are placed on the rear, but when you use the slider, the cameras rotate over to the front allowing you to take a selfie.
And thanks to this rotating camera, the Samsung Galaxy A80 has a notch-less Infinity display. The screen is a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel, and it is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is powered by an octa-cor processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Sadly there is no microSD card slot on the Galaxy A80. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. According to the announcement the phone has a dedicated Bixby button
