Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A9 Pro in India. The device is a slightly beefed up version of the Galaxy A9. In fact we have reported about the A9 Pro which was launched in March in china.
The Galaxy A9 Pro sports a massive 6-inch Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage and has a microSD card slot which supports up to 256GB of expandable memory.
The phone’s camera department comprises of a 16 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, OIS, and is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos @30fps. The selfie snapper is an 8 megapixel front camera. Both lenses have f/1.9 apertures. The Galaxy A9 Pro supports Dual SIM cards, and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which can be fully charged in 160 minutes, and has a a fingerprint sensor placed in the physical home button.
The A9 Pro has a single bottom facing speaker, and a 3.5mm audio jack, also on the bottom.
There is a noticable camera hump, despite the large battery.
