Samsung’s upcoming phone in its A series, the Galaxy A9, has been spotted on Chinese regulator website, TENAA.
And these are the technical specifications of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 sports a 6-inch Full HD 1080P AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, an Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
Storage wise, the phone has 32GB of internal memory, and supports up to 128GB of expandable memory. The Galaxy A9 could feature an 8-megapixel or a 13-megapixel rear camera with Full HD 1080p video recording with LED Flash, and an 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
The phone measures at 161.7 × 80.9 × 7.4mm and weighs 200g. It will be available in at least two colours: Gold, White. The phone has a metallic frame with the volume rocker on the left side, while the right side houses a sim slot, and the power button.
Times News suggests that the phone could feature a 4000 mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner (embedded in the home button). The Samsung Galaxy A9 could be unveiled at the CES 2016 techshow in January.
