A few days ago, we reported that the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A9, along with a few images, had been leaked on Chinese regulator website, TENAA.
And now, the phone has officially been launched in China.
The Galaxy A9 sports a 6-inch Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) processor, with 3GB of RAM. The A9 has 32GB of internal storage, and supports up to 128GB of expandable memory.
The A9 features a 13 megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture, LED Flash and OIS, and an 8 megapixel front camera, also with an f/1.9 aperture.
The phone features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge. Connectivity wise, the Galaxy A9, supports 4G LTE, WiFi, GPS, Glonass, NFC. The Samsung Galaxy A9 has a metal and glass body.
There is no word on the pricing or availability of the phone yet.
