Samsung are about to unveil the Galaxy Alpha on August 13th in India.
Or it appears so, according to the mysterious press invite we received.
But, apparently the phone made a special appearance in Russia, at an event called the Samsung Galaxy Alpha Regatta, by PROYachting.
And that’s not all. The specifications of the phone were leaked by a Brazilian Blog. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha will sport a 4.7″ Super AMOLED Display which supports a resolution of 1080×720 pixels. It will run Android 4.4. KitKat out of the box, and is powered by an Octa-core Exynos processor, and has 2 GB of RAM. It boasts 32 GB of internal storage, but does not feature a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy Alpha will have a 12 Megapixel shooter on the back, and a 2.1 Megapixel camera on the front. It also has a Fingerprint sensor, and a Heart rate monitor. The phone uses a Nano SIM Card slot, and offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth4.0. It packs a 1,860 mAh battery.
