Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro launched in China: SD626, 16 MP cameras, 5.7″ Super Amoled Display

Samsung has silently unveiled the Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone in China by listing it on its official portal with all the specifications and images of the device. The company is yet to announce the pricing of the device and is expected to begin pre-orders starting January 16. Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro comes with a uni-metal body design with split Antenna lines at the back .

It sports a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED full HD 1080p display, powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor & Adreno 506 GPU along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage ( ~50 GB is available to the end user) along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 256 GB. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based operating system. It comes with a USB type C port instead of a microUSB port and includes the 3.5 mm audio jack.


In terms of camera, It comes with 16 MP cameras with an aperture of f/1.9 both as main rear camera and front shooter. The Home button at front comes with fingerprint sensor embedded in it. The device is backed by a  3300 mAh battery. It comes with support for 4G LTE and comes with a Hybrid SIM slot which means you can either use two SIMs without a microsd card or use one sim with microsd card. It also comes with NFC support.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 156.5 X 77.2 X 7.0 mm and weighs 172 grams. The sensors on the device include acceleration sensor, fingerprint reader, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, proximity sensor and RGB light sensor.The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be available in Rose pink, Arctic blue and Maple leaf gold.
