Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy C9 soon, thanks to an official teaser from the company talking about the “The next big thing is coming”, yet the official teaser avoids specifying any launch date for the same. Images of an alleged Pro variant of the device i.e. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro were leaked yesterday showing the new split Antenna design. Today we got one more addition in this list which indicates that the public launch of C9 is imminent i.e. Samsung Galaxy C9 SM-C9000 has passed the chinese certification agency TENAA and is now listed there revealing all the hardware specifications along with the images of the device.
TENAA listing reveals that Samsung Galaxy C9 sports a 6.0 inch Full HD AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core CPU with 6 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system and comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB.

The dimensions of the device are listed as 162.9 × 80.7 × 6.9 (mm) which means it is just 6.9 mm thick & weighs 185 grams. It comes with support for 4G along with VoLTE. The listing mentions the presence of Gravity sensor, proximity sensor and light sensor. Apart from these sensors, we can see fingerprint sensor is at the back just below the main camera.
The listing also points to a Lithium ion battery of 4000 mAh capacity. In terms of colours, Galaxy C9 will be available in Gold color. We couldn’t find any mention of fingerprint sensor on the smartphone.
