Samsung has listed Galaxy Grand Neo (GT-I9060) on its official website and is now available for sale on various online portals. Galaxy Grand Neo is the rumored Galaxy Grand Lite device which was leaked sometime back. Samsung didn’t make any announcement about the release of the device and listed it quietly on its website without any fan fare.
This is one of those devices by Samsung which come with large screens but moderate hardware keeping the price low and making it affordable for consumers who want a big screen.
Galaxy Grand Neofeatures a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. In terms of operating system, the device is running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and not the latest Android 4.4.x Kitkat.
The device sports 5MP auto focus main (rear) Camera with LED Flash and 0.3MP (VGA) secondary (front) camera.
In terms of storage, the device comes with 16 GB internal memory along with support for expandable memory using micro SD card up to 64 GB.
The device is powered by a battery of 2100 mAh capacity which gives up to 11 hours (3G) talk time and up to 430 hours standby time.
