Samsung Galaxy J3 is the new mid range smartphone, which the company unveiled today in India.
The phone is designed for two wheeler riders, who often get calls during their day to day travel.
The S Bike Mode is a smart IVR system, which allows the user to get only the calls which are absolutely essential, like say for example, a call from your boss. All other calls, will be met with a pre-recorded message, informing the caller that the person they are calling is riding his bike. This IVR message is available in 14 languages including Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, and more. This allows the biker to ride to their destination, without the anxiety of missing the important calls.
The caller will be informed that if the call is very important, they can press the 1 key, to notify the user to take the call. The phone also focuses on the biker’s safety, with the use of a motion sensor, which only lets the user take a call after the bike has been stopped.
The Galaxy J3 sports a 5.0-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. The phone features an 8 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5 megapixel front camera also with a similar aperture.
