Samsung has quietly launched a mid range powerhouse, called the Galaxy J7 Prime, in India. The box images and the pricing details of the phone along with its tech specs were outed by Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom (Manish Khatri).
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime sports a 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD TFT display, with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor with 3GB of RAM, and has 16GB of internal storage. The phone comes with a microSD card slot which supports up to 256GB of expandable memory.
In addition to a memory card slot, the phone comes with Dual SIM card slots, and carries the DUOS branding. The Galaxy J7 Prime supports 4G LTE, and NFC (as indicated by the S Bike Mode listed on the box)
A 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera, both with f/1.9 apertures, make up the J7 Prime’s camera department. The phone has a physical home button which is home to an embedded fingerprint scanner. The Prime has a full metal body, which is Champagne Gold in color. The phone is backed by a 3300 mAh battery.
