Samsung has announced a new entry level device in India. This is the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core.
The phone sports a 5.3-inches HD+ TFT LCD display. It has an old school 16:9 ratio with massive forehead and chin bezels.
The Galaxy M01 Core runs on Android Go, and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor. It comes in 2 variants: 1GB of RAM with 16GB of storage, and 2GB of RAM with 32GB of onboard memory.
The Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is equipped with a single 8MP rear camera which is accompanied by an LED Flash. On the front is a 5MP for selfies.
The Galaxy M01 Core does not have a fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the phone has a stripe design that gives it a nice look.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core price in India
The Samsung Galaxy M01 Core has been priced at Rs. 5,499 in India for the 1GB RAM variant with 16GB of storage, while the 2GB version that has 32GB onboard memory will cost Rs. 6499. The device comes in 3 colours: Black, Blue and Red.
The company says that the Galaxy M01 Core will be available from Samsung.com, online stores and offline channels from July 29th.
