Just yesterday we reported about how Samsung Gulf revealed that the 2012 flagship phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, will not be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Despite of that, it appears that the 3 year old device could still be getting a taste of Lollipop.
A Spanish user reached out to Samsung Spain on Twitter, questioning if the Galaxy Note 2 Android Lollipop update is a possibility. He went on to point out that the Samsung Poland and Finland divisions have reported that the Note 2 would be updated. Samsung Spain replied positively, saying that it will update the Note 2 to Android 5.0 Lollipop, if nothing goes wrong with the update process.

It also went on to say that the company will consult internally with its engineers, and that it does not have a release date for the Galaxy Note 2 Android Lollipop update. Nevertheless, it is reassuring to hear Samsung’s confirmation.
