Samsung’s upcoming Phablet Flagship, the Galaxy Note 4, could feature a built-in retinal scanner.
The above picture was tweeted by Samsung Exynos’ account and has the words “Unlock the future”, whilst focusing on a user’s eye.
The tweet also said,
“Security can be improved using features unique to us. “
This suggests that the phone may have additional security such as, a “Retinal Scan to Unlock the screen”. The Note 4 has been reported to feature a fingerprint scanner in the home button, so a retinal scanner would serve as an extra layer of security to protect the user’s data from prying “eyes”.
