We are still at least two months away from Samsung Galaxy Note 6/7 official launch. We know this information thanks to evleaks. Credible leaks about the technical specification of Samsung Galaxy Note 6/7 are yet to start flowing in. Today the flow of leaks started in the form of rendering video which got leaked on Chinese portals from @onleaks showing the build of the device and other design details.
Also, we are not yet sure if the final name of the smartphone will be Galaxy Note 6 Edge or Galaxy Note 7 as we have heard rumors suggesting that Samsung may skip the naming the device as “Note 6” and jump directly to “Note 7”.
If you look at the video, it shows metal frame, USB Type-C interface, S-Pen and the curved screen similar to what we see on Galaxy S7 edge. The renderings of Note 6/7 though show curved edges on both sides of the screen and not just one side. The design hence looks as modification of the existing Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with addition to S-Pen.
Apart from this video which only shows the front, another leak revealed images of phone renderings which gave an all around look. These leaks show the home button which possibly will also work as fingerprint sensor, the S-Pen slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, speaker grill, Antenna lines, the volume rocker buttons and power buttons.
It also shows the main rear camera with LED flash and possibly with laser focus too or else it’s a dual LED flash. The front Camera at the top on front screen appears to be coming with dual flash with laser focus too or Irish scanner integrated there. We can only guess at the moment what it can be.
In terms of technical specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note 6/7 is rumored to sport a 5.8-inch 2K display powered by Snapdragon 823 / Exynos 8890 processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 4000 mAh battery. It is expected to come with Iris recognition and support for IP68 dust & water proof.
We will be tracking these leaks rigorously, so stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
