Alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Schematic leak; Indicates Dual camera and Fingerprint sensor at back
Alleged schematics of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have leaked on the web giving us some insight into the upcoming flagship device from Samsung. These schematics though differ from the earlier leaked alleged renders of the device and indicate that fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel just below the vertically aligned dual camera. If these schematics are genuine, it suggests that Samsung may have shelved the plans of putting the fingerprint sensor on the front either with a Home button or beneath the display.
We can also see dual speakers with speaker grills visible at top & bottom, While the USB C port and the S Pen slot at the bottom. Three buttons are visible on one side while a single button is present on the other side.

Is this the first look of Samsung Galaxy Note 8? Alleged Render leaks, look similar to Galaxy S8
After the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, rumours have surfaced indicating that Samsung may sell the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 in few countries by modifying the battery capacity. Putting aside the fiasco, Samsung is expected to be working on the next generation of Note series as Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which is rumoured to feature an Infinity Display similar to the Galaxy S8 with the latest version of Android operating system out of the box which at the moment is Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Note 8 display is expected to come with the same aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and no home button.
Today, an alleged render of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has surfaced thanks to a Twitter user @PoyocoTech on the web. At the moment, we are not sure how credible this alleged render is but as per the leak Galaxy Note 8 design is similar to Galaxy S8, while the camera (dual camera setup) will be based on Note 3’s design. The rumours about a dual camera setup on Note 8 is already floating around. There is a hole at the bottom that appears to be the 3.5 mm audio jack, while the placeholder for the S Pen is at the other end. The USB C type port and speaker grills are visible at the bottom. Sim tray is probably placed at the top while the Antenna lines are visible both at the top and bottom views.
Note8 will also have stereo speakers and will be tuned by AKG. Samsung will try to perfect the Galaxy S8 design with uniformly aligned ports. Samsung will add a texture to the Bixby button, while the S Pen design will be similar to what came with Note7 with minor improvements. It also indicates that Samsung is still working on putting the fingerprint sensor at the front instead of on the back panel and is yet to be finalised. The final appearance of Galaxy Note 8 will depend on how much progress is made with the ability to put the fingerprint sensor.
The leak also suggests that the new S Pen will have a built-in vibrator and can be located using Find My Mobile app in Galaxy devices.
Another leak surfaced on Weibo suggests that Galaxy Note 8 display will come with a better screen to body ratio compared to Galaxy S8, thanks to the wider angle at the top of screen corners and with more narrower bezels.
As with any other leak, take this leak with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
