The next flagship device from Samsung in Galaxy Note series i.e. Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled to be launched on August 9th at a Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. A recent report from Seoul has hinted that it may be released on August 24th in Korea, almost two weeks after the global launch.
AndroidPure has received various case renders of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which gives us enough sneak peek into the design of the device. Looking at these case renders, you will notice that Samsung has made almost no change in the design and it looks similar to the existing Galaxy Note 8 except one major change which is, the location of fingerprint sensor which is now placed just below the dual camera module at a convenient position for fingers. The bottom bezel appears to be slightly thinner than what we have seen in Note 8. One of the case renders also reveal the presence of 3.5mm audio jack and Samsung appears in no hurry to get rid of the audio jack. The renders also rule out the under display fingerprint sensor which is placed on the rear panel below the cameras.
Thanks to numerous rumors, here’s what we know a lot about the Galaxy Note 9 i.e. it features a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio having the resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels. It comes with the Infinity display bezel-less full-screen design. It is expected to be available in two processor variants, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and the other with an Exynos 9810 processor. The phone features a dual rear camera module consisting of 12MP sensors, and a single selfie lens i.e. 8MP front camera sensor. A 4000 mAh battery is rumored to be packed into the device while the rear panel of which could house the fingerprint scanner.
