Samsung has made the official announcement for Galaxy Note9 and has scheduled a launch event on August 9, 2018, at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York, USA which starts at 11 AM ET (8:30 PM IST). The event will be live streamed on company YouTube channel. The media invites for the event is already sent out to media outlets and Bloggers.
Note9 is the successor to existing Galaxy Note8. The video teaser released by the company appears to be showcasing the improved stylus of the Note9 and a new yellow colour. Officially not much is known about Galaxy Note9 except some rumours, which indicate that Note 9 may feature the same chipset (Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 depending on the market) & the camera sensors as that of Galaxy S9+.
It may feature an improved S-Pen stylus as teased in the teaser above. Some rumours also indicate a 512GB storage variant in some countries. In terms of battery, it may be backed by 4000mAh capacity battery with support for wireless fast charging. It is also expected to make the début of Bixby 2.0 with improved response times. It is expected to be available in Black, Blue, Gray, Lavender and new Brown colour options.
