Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 Update. It brings some new features for the custom Android skin.
What’s new in the Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 Update
The update brings the Quick Share feature which lets you share files over Bluetooth, and Music Share for sharing audio via the Bluetooth connection.
According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 Update brings a new Single Take mode for the camera, that lets you capture a series of photos and videos with a single tap. Pro Video Recording with ISP, White Balance, Shutter Speed adjustments is now available as well. There are some new custom filters for photos.
The AR Emoji, AR Doodle options are now available from a unified location called the AR Zone. The Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 Update brings the June 2020 Security Patch from Google. The OTA dowload size is about 1.2GB. The firmware version of the update is N960FXXU5ETF5.
The new version is rolling out in Germany currently, and is expected to be made available in South Korea next. It will be followed by a wider roll out in more regions soon. In the meantime, you can manually check for updates from the Settings > Software Update screen.
