Last week, we reported about the leaked design of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. And now, the Samsung Galaxy S2 announcement, pre-order and launch dates have been leaked.
Rumours had previously suggested that the South Korean company will be ditching its traditional February launch, and instead debut its upcoming flagships a month earlier. Jon Prosser, a leaker know for Apple leaks, has Tweeted that Samsung will indeed be unveiling the S2 series in January.
Samsung Galaxy S21 announcement, pre-order and launch dates leaked
According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy S21 announcement date is set for January 14th, 2021. The leaker confirms what we have known so far, by telling that the S21 series will have three devices: the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The devices will be available for pre-order on the same day. The Samsung Galaxy S21 launch date is January 29th, meaning the devices will start shipping exactly 15 days after they have been announced.
The leak also reveals the colour options the Galaxy S21 will be available in. There will be 6 colours to choose from: Black, White, Grey, Silver, Violet and Pink.
An earlier leak by Ross Young lines up with this information, and further tells us that the Galaxy S21 will come in Gray, Pink Violet and White, while the Galaxy S21 Plus will be available in Black and Silver. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will have 3 variants: Black, Silver and Violet. The devices will reportedly by manufactured in Brazil, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam.
A prior leak revealed the Galaxy S21 design, it has triple rear cameras, a punch-hole display and a flat screen. We can expect more leaks to happen, as we approach the Samsung Galaxy S21 announcement date.
