Benchmarking website, Antutu, has released its performance report for the top 10 phones of Q1 2015.
It is easy to say that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge take the cake, but in truth there seems to be no competition at all.
Both the Exynos 7420 devices are miles ahead with the Galaxy S6 crowned number one with a whopping 67520 points, while the S6 is not far behind at 62373.
The third place goes to HTC One M9 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, stands far away in the horizon with just 52709 points. Heating issues are reported as the reason for the low scores for the M9.
Samsung’s 2014 flagship the Galaxy S5 (European variant) with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 took the fourth place with 49355 points. The 32-bit Meizu MX4 with Mediatek MT6595 completes the top 5 round up.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 devices, Google Nexus 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 sit at the 6 and 7 spots with nearly identical scores. The Motorola Droid Turbo, also powered by an SD 805 SoC, managed to just outscore the LG G Flex 2, which has a SD 810. The OnePlus One with the Snapdragon 801 takes the final spot in the top ten devices of the first quarter of the year.
