A couple of real photos of the Samsung S7 have been leaked on Weibo, which show off the Gold coloured variant.
We have already seen the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge press render images and technical specifications which were leaked last month by evleaks. And the new leaked photos by Zealer, do look similar, so in that sense they appear to be legit.
Zealer says that the previous leak which said that the Galaxy S7 will come in two variants (Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890) is true, and so is the waterproof certification for the device. Interestingly, the leakster also added that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will not have a USB Type-C port, which we find a bit odd.
The leaked images show the Galaxy S7’s back cover which has an arc design similar to the Galaxy Note 5. But it is the camera and the LED flash which caught our eye. There appears to be something which looks like a Laser Autofocus module below the LED flash, could be a dual LED Flash.
Oh and by the way, the watermark across the images, “pisapapeles”, is the Spanish word for paper weight. Well, that’s hilarious.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S7 will be launched on February 21st, at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. And that is less than 10 days away.
