Samsung is expected to announce it’s next flagship device Galaxy S8 on Feb 26, 2017 which is still few months away. Thanks to Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung is treading cautiously with its next flagship device and the company may less enthusiastic with experimenting with additional features that may add to the fiasco. Samsung has already confirmed that Galaxy S8 will feature an enhanced artificial-intelligence service which may be named as Bixby.
A new rumor originating on Chinese social network weibo reveals details about upcoming Galaxy S8. As per this rumor, Samsung Galaxy S8 may come without a physical home button on front display. The rumor also suggests that Galaxy S8 will continue with the 2K display just like Galaxy S7, but with a new kind of material for display. There won’t be any 4K display on the new flagship.
We do not have any more details about this new kind of material for display though. These rumors are coming through the supply chain details of Galaxy S8 which indicates the supply of 2K display and there are no orders to suppliers of Home key components.
