Samsung as a brand has taken a hit with Galaxy Note 7 fiasco which is yet to be fixed, yet it seems that the Note 7 fiasco is not going to affect the next Galaxy launch schedule i.e. Samsung Galaxy S8. At the moment, Samsung is asking customers to replace their Note 7 devices, yet we have seen reports of even the replaced Note 7 devices exploding / burning.
Now, a new alleged teaser from Samsung has surfaced which indicate that the company will be launching the Galaxy S8 next year in February during the Mobile World Congress 2017 to be held at Barcelona. The teaser mentions February 26 as the “Samsung Galaxy Unpacked” event during MWC 17.
At the moment, we do not have much information about technical specifications of Samsung Galaxy S8 except some rumors. These rumors suggest that S8 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon exclusively & Samsung’s own Exynos 8895, along with dual rear cameras and no Home button on the front making the full display available on the front. We have no information about the battery capacity and other specifications at the moment.
As with each leak, take this too with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
