Samsung is expected to officially unveil its next flagship devices Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29 which goes on sale on April 21. As the official launch day approaches, the number of leaks and rumors coming out with each passing day continue to grow, giving us some ample sneak peek of what’s in store. We already have seen alleged Renders, Technical Specifications and live images of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ including alleged front panel images that leaked. Just few hours back, we reported Galaxy S8+ Screen Protector Renders giving us detailed look at the device.
Now we have a new leak which suggests that a 6 GB variant of Galaxy S8 is also in works and may be unveiled. The leak comes in the form of an alleged image shot probably from the back panel which shows the branding as “Galaxy S8 6” where “6” is added to the phone name surround by black background. Check out the image below to understand what we mean. The image also show some usual standard code number at bottom along with “Made in Vietnam” at the bottom.
This leaked image probably show the branding at the back for a 6 GB RAM variant of Samsung Galaxy S8. How good our guess is, we will know that when the official launch takes place. Till date, we haven’t heard much rumors about any 6 GB RAM variant of Galaxy S8.
Under the hood, S8 and S8+ is rumored to sport 5.8 inch / 6.2 inch display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 / Exynos processor along with 4 GB of RAM and at least 64 GB of expandable storage space. In terms of battery backup, 5.8-inch variant is backed by 3000 mAh battery, while the bigger 6.2-inch variant is backed by a 3500 mAh battery.
