A couple of days ago, leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 were making the rounds on social media. The images were of rather poor quality, and it was quite difficult to tell what the upcoming premium devices looked like.
However, a bunch of new renders have been released by LetsGoDigital and Giuseppe Spinelli, the images are top-notch.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 comes in a clamshell design, and kind of looks like the Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP. The phone has a two-tone colour design which we have seen on Google’s Pixel phones.
The dual cameras on the back of the Flip3, sit next to the 1.83-inches cover display. The external screen can be used for controlling music playback, notifications, etc. The device is expected to have an IP rating though this is likely not an IP68 certification for a waterproof design, it is more likely a splash proof design.
The lenses could be similar to last year’s Flip.
According to a leaker, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 will be available in 4 colourways: Black, White, Purple, and Green. Based on some trademarks filed by the company, which indicate the names, Armor Frame, Armor Skin, Armor Layer and Pro-Shield, the device could have a reinforced frame, or possibly protective covers.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is expected to be announced alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, sometime in July or August. The Fold3 is said to be the first foldable with an under-display camera. This is what the device looks like, according to Ice Universe. The foldable will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display, and support the S-Pen stylus.
The device will reportedly come in 3 colours: Black, White (Silver), and Green.
