Press images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 5G have been leaked. Here’s what the upcoming foldable devices look like.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 looks very similar to the Galaxy Z Fold2 that was launched in September 2020. The device has 2 screens which opens up like a tablet, and folds into a phone. If you look closely, you can spot the selfie camera sitting in the top center of the screen on the right-hand side, in the hole punch cutout.
The leaked render features a Galaxy S-Pen stylus that the foldable device will support.
Samsung is sticking with triple cameras just like the previous generation, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3’s camera array sits inside a vertical bump.
Coming to the clamshell phone, the Samsung Galaxy Flip3 5G render leaked by Evan Blass aka evleaks, shows that the device has dual cameras on the back panel that has a dual-tone finish. The lenses are placed in a long strip along with the external display that is used for notifications. And the phone’s moniker confirms that it will support 5G mobile networks.
The technical specifications of both devices remain a mystery, but this could change quickly. While there has been no official word about it yet, we expect the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 5G to be announced in August, at a Samsung Unpacked event.
