Despite the lukewarm response to the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch, the Korean electronics giant doesn’t seem to be disheartened.
Samsung are planning to unveil 2 new smartwatches at the Mobile World Congress 2014.
Meet the Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear 2 Neo.
Here is another photo, which is quite blurry.
Now if you are wondering why there isn’t the word Galaxy in the name, it is because evleaks, who leaked the photos, said that these watches aren’t of the Galaxy brand, which all of their Android devices are.
This leads us to assume that the watches could be the first devices to run Samsung’s Tizen OS. Unlike Android, Tizen is a fully open source Linuxbased operating system. Samsung have already merged their own OS, Bada, with Tizen, and are also expected to launch a Tizen Smartphone at the MWC, called the Samsung ZEQ 9000.
