Samsung Galaxy S6 / S7 Edge smartphone are slowly getting more popular and thanks to that popularity, it appears that Samsung is already testing the “Edge” variant for Galaxy Note 6 too and hopefully will launch the two versions of Galaxy Note 6 this year.
This report comes from GSM Helpdesk which says that Samsung is currently toying with both a flat and a curved screen featuring qHD display (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution for the next Note flagship. The report also reveals some of the major hardware specifications of Note 6 with both the variants offering similar specs with display of same size and pixel resolution.
The report also suggests a battery capacity of 4,000 mAh capacity. As per the same report, many prototypes of Galaxy Note 6 at the moment are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 chipset and both the variants come with 6 GB of RAM. The storage capacity indicated is 32 GB along with support for expandable storage via microsd cards. The prototypes are running the Android N developer version operating system.
Both the variants will come with the same 12 MP dual pixel cameras which come with Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphone. It comes with a fingerprint scanner for sure, but the report is unable to confirm the Iris scanner as reported in some of the earlier leaks.
As we say with each leak, take all this with pinch of salt. Also, anything or everything can change when product moves from prototype stage to actual launch stage. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
