Sony has officially announced the third phone in its new Xperia X series. The latest entrant is the Sony Xperia XA Ultra. And like the name suggests, the device is a phablet.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra sports a 6.0-inch Full HD 1080p display, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor with 3GB of RAM. Storage wise, the XA Ultra has 16GB of internal memory and supports up to 200GB of expandable memory via microSD card.
The main feature of the Xperia XA Ultra are the cameras. The rear camera is a 21.5MPlens with an Exmor RS sensor with Hybrid Auto-Focus, 5x Clear Image Zoom. The selfie lens is a 16 MP front camera with an Sony Exmor R sensor, front facing flash, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Auto-Focus, an 88 degree wide angle lens and supports low-light photography.
The XA Ultra supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, aGPS,WiFi, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, FM, amongst the various connectivity options. The phone is backed by a 2700 mAh battery, and weighs at 202g and measures at 164 x 79 x 8.4 mm. The phone will be available in three colours: White, Black and Lime Gold.
