Sony has officially unveiled its 2015 flagship phone, the Xperia Z4, in Japan.
The phone flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD Display, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810
It has 3GB of RAM, and has 32 GB of internal storage. It supports up to 128GB of expandable storage via a microSD slot. The Xperia 4 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The phone has a 20.7 Megapixel camera with a Exmor Sensor, and a 24mm wide-angle 5 megapixel front camera. The Z4 is dust proof (IP6 certified) and water proof (IP5 and IP8 certified).
The Xperia Z4 has a polished aluminum frame, and is made with a combination of glass material, and has a transparent resin in the corners. The device weighs about 144g, and measures 146 × 72 × 6.9 mm. The Z4 packs a 2,930 mAh battery.
Sony has also announced a desktop holder, and flip covers for the Z4.
The Sony Xperia Z4 will be available in four colours: White, Black, Copper, and Aqua Green. There is no information regarding the price of the phone yet.
