If you stay in US and wanted to grab Sony Xperia Z5 or Z5C when they arrive in US on February 7th, then here is some bad news for you. As per The Verge, US version of the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will not include a fingerprint sensor. That decision seems weird and at the moment we have no information on why they are not shipping the fingerprint sensor for the US customers.
Here is the what the report says:
Sony has informed us that the US version of the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will not include a fingerprint sensor.
Sony Xperia Z5 sports a 5.2-inch display powered by Snapdragon 810 processor with 3 GB of RAM, a microSD slot, and a 2,900 mAh battery. It also has a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera. Z5 compact is like the lite version of the xperia Z5.
We will update this post if we hear any more details.
