Subway Surfers received another update bringing us to our next destination in the World Tour, Rome.
And that’s not the only thing new in this update!
Our readers will be aware that we cover this game’s updates closely, because we love it just as much as you. I already guessed that the next update would be Rome, because today’s daily mission required us to collect the letters ROME.
The developers have added more stuff to the game, now you can collect 100 Easter eggs to get a special prize, the number of eggs you collect will be displayed in the game’s main screen and also during general gameplay. The Egg Hunt Special prize is this cool new “Chicky Hoverboard”
The eggs are scattered in various places in the game and can be picked up just like any other powerup. You may need to use the Super Sneakers for certain eggs which may be in high places, such as the roof of a tunnel. But if you miss an egg, it is no biggiem just continue playing and you will find more. I found over 50 eggs in an hour’s worth of gameplay.
And they continue the tradition of adding a new character for you to unlock, this time it’s Roberto. They have further increased the number of possible upgrades for powerups by 1 point, each will cost you 60000 in-game coins.
Here is a change-log for the updated version:
The World Tour continues in Europe – go surfing in Rome!
Add Roberto, the Italian scooter kid, to your character collection
Ride new fantastic Boards in the Subway of beautiful Rome
Join the spectacular Egg Hunt: Collect 100 eggs and get a special prize
Make your jetpack and other powerups last even longer with extra powerup upgradesRome is the third city to be featured in the game so far, after New york City and Rio. But the only downside that I see with each update is they haven’t included an option to select a City theme. It would have been cool if they had allowed users to switch between the cities we can play in.
