Super Meat Boy is probably one of the most played platformers of modern gaming.
I have seen many people asking about a possible android version on many social networks and forums, and Team Meat finally has an answer.
It is YES!
The awesome team behind the hit game, has announced a new game called Super Meat Boy Forever. It will be available for smartphones, tablets and Steam.
SMB:F is not a port of the original SMB. It is completely new, has been optimized for touch screen devices, and will provide an awesome platformer experience with a simple yet intuitive control scheme. It was originally announced at PAX Prime, underĀ a different name.
Apparently SMB:F will have pin point accuracy and surprisingly deep controls. All this without a virtual D-Pad? So is it going to be a one touch control system? Well, no. They haven’t really said what the controls would be like, but from the above criteria, we can only assume that it would be using a swype control system.
Game features:
- A full story with 6 chapters, and double the bosses the original game featured.
- An endless mode with online high scores and daily runs.
- A full fledged dark world featuring dark warp zones, bosses, new playable indie game characters and more.
- A vast randomly generated level structure that ensures a totally new play experience with each death
The game will not have aggressive IAPs, and is not a simple endless runner, despite featuring an endless mode. If anything, it should be as brutally hard, and fun to play as the original SMB.

Super Meat Boy Forever will be released sometime next year. We can’t wait for it.
