Nuance have announced that they are pushing an update for Swype, focusing on bringing support to 2 new languages, Hindi and Belgian Dutch.
They have also worked on some other features as well, including the Smart editor which should now perform better.
Nuance have good news for their Hindi speaking community, because the latest update now includes support for your language. And they have also added a Belgian Dutch based AZERTY keyboard instead of the Dutch QWERTY keyboard. Both these languages will use Swype’s advanced algorithms to make word predictions better.
The most significant improvement is the responsiveness of the keyboard, which should now take lesser time between two key presses. Finally they have also improved Swype’s Smart Editor. The Smart Editor works by scanning a sentence you typed and suggest alternative words if it finds a better word suggestion. This feature has been improved to provide better corrections. They have also squeezed in a few bug fixes and minor adjustments to the UI.
