As reported, TCL has just announced a new flagship smartphone at an event in China. TCL as a company is slowly entering into Smartphone market and with TCL 950, they now have a flagship device for their consumers. TCL 950 is already certified by Chinese certification agency TENAA. TCL 950 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad core processor clocked at 2.15 GHz and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 21 MP Sony IMX230 sensor with PDAF, 6P lens & F/2.2 aperture and another 8 MP Front shooter with F/2.2 aperture for selfies. It measures 153.9 × 75.4 × 6.99 (mm) which means it is just ~7 mm thick and weighs just 165 grams.
It is backed by a 3,000 mAh Lithium Battery along with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 support. It comes with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE. The fingerprint sensor is located at the back just below the camera.
TCL 950 will be sold through TCL’s online store & JD.com, and is priced at 3299 Yuan (~ $495 / Rs. 33,000) and will be available in two color options of Gold and Silver.
