Temple run 2 has been updated with some new features, support for Leaderboards & Achievements.
But the spotlight will be on the first pay to unlock character, Usain Bolt.
You read it right, the character has to be bought with real money, for $1. While it is not much, seeing Temple Run 2 going the way of IAPs for unlocking content is a bit disheartening. Oh, and he has his own powerup too.
Now coming to the good news, the game now supports Google Play Services for Leaderboards & Achievements.
- To sign in to Google and enable the option, open the settings menu in Temple Run 2.
- Toggle the option to sign into Google. Choose an account to sign in to.
- And you will see the Leaderboards button on your screen. Tap it and you will find the different scores you can compare yours with.
Now whether the game will save your coins, gems and progress data is unknown. I sure hope it does.
