Tiny Tower, the hit simulation game will return to Android, later this month. Nimblebit announced the incredible news along with some pretty cool information about the upcoming relaunch.
The upcoming version is called the Tiny Tower 5th anniversary update and brings some new content and features. This includes new sharper graphics, new missions, new floors, streamlined tower management and you can even send and receive bitizens from your friends.
The game was originally launched 5 years ago, in 2011, with Mobage publishing the Android version of the iOS runaway hit. But that came with an annoying rule, you always had to be online to play the game while its iOS counterpart from Nimbebit was playable offline.
And it only made things worse, when Mobage took the games off the Play Store. Nevertheless it was a big hit while it lasted, and paved the way for Tiny Tower Vegas, which continues to be very popular.
We have reached out to Nimblebit about more details about the game, including the possibility of playing it offline, so stay tuned for updates. Hopefully they will also republish Pocket Planes and Pocket Frogs as well.
Update: David from Nimblebit says that Tiny Tower 5th anniversary can be played offline.
