This may sound a little weird, but Twitter for Android finally has a menu button.
The new button allows you to change the app’s settings and also to switch between accounts.
Let’s take a look at the new features:
See what’s happening near you or around the world by viewing Trends in hundreds of locations.
Get quick access to account switching and settings via the menu button.
Enjoy a smoother experience thanks to bug fixes and other improvements.
Tapping the menu button will pop up two options, Accounts and Settings.
The accounts button can be used to switch between different Twitter accounts, should you have multiple accounts. If you haven’t added a second account to the app, the new option will allow you to do so.
The settings section of the app doesn’t offer a whole lot of customization. It’s too basic but still it’s a start. Click on your username and you will find options to change the Sync intervals, Notifications, etc.
The last major change in the new version is the Trends section. It is tailored based on the people you follow and your location. But you can also change the location, to see the trends in different Countries.
You can download Twitter for Android from Google Play:

The recent updates for the app are quite good, perhaps the Tweetdeck team is working on it.
