One of the popular browsers on smartphones, UC Browser has announced tieup with Twitter and Microsoft Bing to provide real-time cricket content within the browser itself using the UC Cricket. UC Browser is trying to evolve more as a content aggregation platform instead of just a browsing tool.
UC Cricket, the cricket content aggregation platform in UC Browser was first introduced in 2013 which offered news and updates about cricket matches. This is now improved a lot and provides complete cricket content such as live score, news, videos, live tweets, photo, stats, previews, commentaries, etc. of ongoing cricket matches happening worldwide.
Now with twitter and Bing capabilities integrated in UC Web, Twitter provides live, public, and conversational content related to cricket matches including trending Tweets of cricketers, and exclusive Twitter-only content from official cricket team accounts such as native videos, Periscopes, Vines, and photos. Whereas, Bing (the search engine from Microsoft) provides predictions to upcoming matches via Bing Predicts.
It also comes with floating widget UC Express letting you access cricket content on any screen and Customizable Notification enabling users to subscribe the upcoming game for push notification update when it starts.
At the moment, Twitter integration is already live on UC Cricket whereas Bing integration will go live from 14 March onward.
