Moto G is one of the successful launches from Motorola which tried to tap the budget smartphone market. Though Moto G was mainly targeted for price sensitive markets like India, the absense of LTE on Moto G was one of the barriers for consumers in smartphone markets like US where LTE data was accessibe to consumers. It seems Motorola was working to bring to bring on that feature too on the device as it got listed on Amazon US for pre-order and if you believe the Amazon listing to be true, the device may be released in June end but with a slightly greater price.
Two unannounced Moto G variants with “universal LTE,” are listed on Amazon US store even though detailed store pages are missing, but both entries mention a $220 price which is slightly above the $200 that you’d pay for a 16GB 3G model and a June 30th release date.
Even though a Amazon listing doesn’t add too much to what really we can expect, we will keep you updated as and when we here more about it. Hopefully we will here something about it from the today’s May 13 event of Motorola in which Motorola Moto E may be launched. Stay tuned.
