Viber for Android has been updated, to add in a couple of new features.
The app now has a “Heart button” next to each message in group chats, regardless of whether it is a text message or a sticker,.
This is a pretty useless move, which makes it more like Facebook. This is an instant messaging app, not a social network. The worst part is you can’t disable it. On the bright side, Viber now allows text messages can now be up to 7000 characters in length.
Public Chats are now available on Android tablets, and you can now share the messages by forwarding to your contacts. Viber says it has also improved its video messaging feature.
