We have been reporting news about the upcoming dual display phone from Vivo many times recently. And now the company has posted the official Vivo Nex Dual Screen renders on Weibo.
This is an odd way to market the device, but we have seen some companies do this to create hype among the media and fans.
So, without further ado here are the Vivo Nex Dual Screen renders. The phone has an almost edge-to-edge display on the front, with only a slight chin. But there is a thick frame around the device, which hides the bezels.
The Vivo Nex Dual Screen renders show off round corners on the primary display. The main screen of the phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. There is no selfie camera on the front panel, and that’s because the device has a second display on the back panel, along with three cameras.
The back panel seen in the Vivo Nex Dual Screen renders has a very odd design. Two of the 3 cameras are inside a ring which serves as an LED flash, though there is a sensor to the left which looks like another LED Flash. The ring itself is divided in two, with the lower half inside the screen. The third camera sits outside the ring, next to the 2nd lens. There is also what appears to be a laser focus sensor, to the far right of the cameras.
The secondary display of the Vivo Nex Dual Screen phone, is small and appears to be using an 18:9 aspect ratio with a massive chin, with a Nex logo on it.
The Vivo Nex Dual Screen renders show a USB port and a speaker on the bottom, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the frame.
The Vivo Nex Dual Screen phone will be officially announced on December 12th, in China.
