Vivo is expected to launch Vivo NEX smartphone on June 12 which may mark its entry into flagship segment with hi-end hardware including SOC chips such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. The company is yet to announce the official launch date of the device, though teasers of the upcoming flagship are already being teased by the company through advertisements in China. Vivo NEX is expected to offer a high screen to body ratio Full-screen device, Under-screen fingerprint sensor, a popup camera and premium hardware.
Now a poster surfaced outside China Retail shop which gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming device. The poster suggests that Vivo NEX will come in two variants with the premium or high-end device being powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor while a lower variant of the device may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. In terms of RAM, the device may feature up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform is the latest SOC from Qualcomm which brings In-Demand Premium Features to a new tier of Smartphones and still to come in the smartphones. The lower variant may not include the pop-up camera that comes in the premium variant powered by Snapdragon 845.
Based on the leak above, Vivo NEX Snapdragon 845 variant may be priced at 6998Yuan while the Snapdragon 710 variant may be priced at 4998Yuan. Honestly, the pricing appears to be high and may not be same when the official launch happens.
