Vivo is planning to launch a new phone in the S-series, and the latest arrival seems to be the Vivo S5. The company has revealed the launch date of the device on Weibo, and it is set to debut on November 14th.
This isn’t the first time we have seen the phone being teased, a previous video promo was released on Weibo recently.
In case you missed it, Vivo launched the series with the Vivo S1 and S1 Pro, both being camera centric phones. And like the S1, the Vivo S5 could also feature good cameras.
Vivo S5 launch teasers
The Vivo S5 teasers have been themed around the tag-line “Illuminate your beauty” (translated). They also talk about fashion, style, and make good use of colours. So we could be looking at many colour variants of the device.
One of the videos also has the word S pop-up, so it is possible the device could feature a pop-up selfie camera. But we can expect the device to be a mid-range device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or 700 series processor.
And considering that the Vivo S1 was launched in India, we can expect the device to arrive on our shores soon after it is announced in China.
