Vivo has sent out media invites to publications in India, in the form of “Block your date” for a launch event next month on 20th February 2019. The media invite includes a teaser which reveals that the company is set to launch a new smartphone with popup selfie camera, similar to what we have seen in Vivo Nex. This will be the successor to Vivo V11 Pro and will come as Vivo V15 Pro. It seems that Vivo is set to skip the Vivo V13 naming for unknown reasons or perhaps because 13 is considered a bad number.
Vivo V15 Pro Hardware Specifications?
We have already seen some leaks in the form of case renders which suggest the popup selfie camera. These case renders also indicate triple camera module at rear aligned vertically and presence of the 3.5mm audio jack. The case renders doesn’t show the slot for fingerprint sensor on the rear indicating an in-display fingerprint sensor which is likely as Vivo V11 Pro has the same. Not much is known about Vivo V15 Pro hardware specifications at this moment, though some rumours suggest that the selfie popup camera will be a 32MP sensor.
In terms of hardware, Vivo V11 Pro sports a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Display having an In-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor along with 6GB of RAM & 64GB of internal storage. In terms of camera, it features 25MP AI front snapper for selfies & video calls while on the rear, there is a dual camera module consisting of 12MP + 5MP Dual Pixel camera. The phone is backed by a 3400 mAh battery with Dual-Engine Fast Charging.
